The Greene County Council on Aging is a not-for-profit county-wide organization which promotes independence and quality of life for Greene County senior citizens and caregivers.

The GCCOA provides a broad range of services and programs, including the Partners in Care (PIC) care management program, the Medication Management Assistance Program (MMAP), the Kinship Navigator Program (for grandparents raising grandchildren and other individuals raising someone else's child), educational and support programs for caregivers, a caregiver resource center, and service grants to area senior centers and other service providers.

In addition, the Council provides information to seniors, caregivers, and the general community on a wide variety of topics. This information is made available via phone contact, mailing, the Insights newsletter, the Directory of Services, presentations to community groups, and the Council's Website.
